The Karlsruhe Days of Optics & Photonics (KDOP) are an important part of KSOP as a place for exchange of ideas and knowledge between graduate students, postgraduates and senior scientists as well as academia and industry.
The concept of the KDOP includes a symposium with plenary lectures from internationally well-known experts from the area of optics & photonics and poster presentations of all KSOP Ph.D. students. It also includes a company contact fair with exhibitors from the optics & photonics industry.
The first successful Karlsruhe Days of Optics & Photonics (KDOP) was the official inauguration of the KSOP on November 5 and 6, 2007. Find out more about the first Karlsruhe Days of Optics & Photonics in 2007!
The next Karlsruhe Days of Optics & Photonics (KDOP) will take place from November 09 - 11, 2009. The event will start with a two-day symposium on November 09 and 10, 2009, including plenary lectures from internationally well-known experts as well as renowned KSOP scientists covering each of the four KSOP research areas.
