KSOP supports Space-Sound Colored Light Installation

The kick-off project for the future collaboration of the ZKM | Center for Art and Media and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) 'Micro Sonical Shining Biospheres No. 1' was officially opened on Friday, July 3, 2009. The space-sound colored light installation is supported by KSOP and was accompanied in its formation phase by one of our Ph.D. students Carmen Kettwich.

Prof. Dr. Eberhard Umbach highlighted in his speech at the opening the role of KSOP as the first graduate school at the KIT and the multidisciplinary cooperation of 12 KIT institutes within KSOP.

The enterable installation by the media artists <SA/JO> can be visited in the ZKM_Cube's SubRoom until January 10, 2010.
