Mission and Philosophy
The graduate school “Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics” (KSOP) aims at becoming one of the leading European research and education centers in the field of optics and photonics. Due to the intense interaction between scientists and engineers it will also foster novel success stories as seen in the past for the laser and other unique technologies. For the graduate students it will provide in-depth and interdisciplinary knowledge, which is necessary for a successful academic or industrial career in the field of optics and photonics and associated technologies.
