For the Master course we consider applicants who have accomplished degrees in:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mathematics
• Computer Science
• Biology
• or Medical Sciences

 

Candidates with other equivalent but less common degrees (e.g. Mechatronic, Nanotechnology) will also be considered.

Due to the inhomogeneous nature of the degrees and education, an individual assignment of one or two adjustment courses will be determined for each student during the first semester to ensure a common background on most important topics within in the diverse field of Optics and Photonics.

A profound knowledge in mathematics is mandatory for all applicants!
